Though an actual decision hasn't been made, it seems pretty clear Motor isn't going anywhere. And for those of you who think that was all my doing, take a look at this pair of lovebirds:

That's why yesterday was so exciting! We passed out two grotesque (but 100% all-natural!) cow knuckles:

Because Motor is a cat, he likes to jump into containers and pretend he lives in a fort:

It's like an igloo in here!

Yesterday he tried to squish into a shoe box on the edge of a table and ended up upending both himself and the box. Plan: A+. Execution: F.

Frenemies

See how they grow...

One of our former foster puppies is visiting for the week. Her name is Summer. This is what she looked like when we first got her:

I'm Summer! I'm a baby so I sleep a lot.

This is what she looks like now, at about six months old:

I'm a teenager and FULL OF ENERGY!

True to her age, she is one sassy miss. And thanks to the shepherd in her, she specializes in back-talk.

I hope I get to see what she looks like when she's all grown up. I imagine she'll be just as spry and cute, only bigger.

*btw, she has the most adorable blond eyelashes that I've ever seen.

Motor Kitty

Meet Motor:

Meow. I am little and soft!

He found us in a parking lot in rural Tennessee. Now he is making a strong case to stay permanently, chiefly by being super cute and snuggly. Only time (and my ability to convince the Mister) will tell. In the meantime, the adorableness continues...
